Josephine Community Library
osephine Community Libraries holds more than 164,000 items in four branch libraries. Among the collection are about 143,900 books, more than 5,800 audio books, nearly 9,000 videos and DVDs, almost 1,600 music CDs, and several hundred magazines and newspapers. So far in 2012, more than 12,700 new items have been added to the materials collection. In addition, there are dozens of online databases that patrons can use to research additional articles.

Child Trends improves the lives and prospects of children and youth by conducting high-quality research and sharing the resulting knowledge with practitioners and policymakers.

Child Trends’ education research focuses on how children and youth can flourish in school.

Family Solutions (Foster Care)
Family Solutions Therapeutic Foster Care Program serves children ages 4 through 18 with severe emotional and behavioral issues. Combining out-of-home placement with intensive treatment, this community-based program provides a full range of treatment services in a homelike environment.

Activities/After School

Parkway Christian Center  (1st-5th Grade)
Parkway Christian Center offers a wide array of activities for Early Childhood and Elementary age children, from weekly classes to vivid lessons and experiences. Our goal is to provide a well-balanced program to build practical Christian living into our children.

Kids Unlimited
Our after school sites employ certified teachers, aides and others who offer homework assistance and quality enrichment to more than 1,000 young people ages 6 to 14, each month. We currently serve eight local schools, including six elementary schools and two middle schools with enrichment based activities.
