“Attachment Theory: Building Blocks of Adult-Child Relationships”
Free Virtual Parenting Workshop
This workshop is appropriate for parents (of children ages 0-18) and professionals working with families. Did you know that during the first 5 years a child is developing their attachment style based on their caregiver’s responsiveness to their needs? “Attachment Theory” is a framework that explains how the early bonds we formed with our caregivers influence our patterns of behavior, thoughts, and emotions in later relationships. Securely attached children have: better emotional regulation, greater self-esteem, improved resilience, more fulfilling relationships, etc. Learn the art of secure attachment for children and how to reduce behaviors with connection and nurturing environments.
