Free

Why is a parenting hub involved in a family movement class? Let us explain:

✔Movement is a stress reliever & mood booster for parents and children
✔It is healthy for all bodies to move
✔It promotes left brain, right brain cross-over movement which is brain science
✔It helps children learn to follow simple instructions
✔It is a fun family activity to do together to make good memories
✔It teaches tools to help regulate emotions and behavior

This event happens right after the Medford Farmers’ Market in Hawthorne Park for 8 Thursdays from 1:30-2:30pm March 3 to April 21, 2022. Look for the large “Zumba” flag near the playground and follow the music. All ages and abilities are welcome. Kelly is an experienced teacher and can help adjust each movement to fit all abilities. Feel free to go at your own pace, attendees are encouraged to wear athletic shoes. This is an outdoor public space and you are assuming all health and safety risks by participating. Classes will happen weather permitting.

Light refreshments are provided. You can stay for the whole event or attend as your schedule allows. Children attending must have an adult present.
