This program is FREE to any parent, grandparent or caretaker that wishes to attend. You do not need to be referred by a treatment center or counselor. No intake procedures or eligibility requirements. If you want help, we are here! Please RSVP and we’ll send you a ZOOM link and welcome email a week before the program starts.
Are you a parent with the extra challenge of sobriety? Come join us to continue learning positive parenting in the context of your journey. We teach this program once per year… don’t miss it! The power of empathy in recovery can prove to be the greatest resource for an addict. We must begin to recognize the importance of empathy and its role on the treatment of those with substance abuse issues. Empathy transcends our preset perspectives and rises above those ideological viewpoints. It allows us to begin looking at the core of the individual, rather than the addiction. Separate support groups facilitated by your parenting educators (advertised in your welcome email) will be available during this program for one-on-one coaching and skill building.
