We’re once again inviting early childhood educators, Kindergarten teachers, elementary school principals, parents and caregivers to come together to discuss just what it means for children to be ready for Kindergarten and how we can help them get there.
Part One of the Summit on Wednesday, August 11 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm will focus on how we can most effectively communicate with everyone involved–parents, caregivers, early childhood educators, Kindergarten teachers, etc.–and how we can great vitial information to families on specific ways to help children learn the social/emotional skills needed to have a great Kindergarten and K12 experience.
Part Two of the Summit on Thursday, August 12 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm will continue the alignment of all our work in early childhood education and services and in our Kindergarten classrooms. Time will be given to share best practices from early childhood educators and Kindergarten teachers–and parents, too.
Participants will receive a $100 E-Card from the Scholastic Book Club, thanks to Southern Oregon Early Learning Services (SOELS).
Simultaneous Spanish interpretation is available.
