Our friends at Southern Oregon Success teach an “Adverse Childhood Experiences & Resilience” workshop the 3rd Tuesday of each month from 2:30pm-4:30pm on Zoom.
The training provides very helpful information on how our brains and nervous system develop, the impact of traumatic experiences on development (and the resulting outcomes we see in physical, mental and behavioral health), the game-changing data provided by the Adverse Childhood Experiences study (ACEs), and the straightforward, science-backed ways we can intentionally build resilience for children, families, schools, agencies and our communities.
